About Braziers Park
Braziers Park is a character-full Grade 11 listed building hidden in an Area of Outstanding Beauty in Oxfordshire. Braziers is a working eco community set on a 55 acre estate, with its own organic kitchen, livestock and historic outbuildings. It was formally home to James Bond author Ian Fleming! This is a place where people live, and this creates a very comfortable and warm atmosphere. The food is vegetarian and excellent. (Often more discussed than the yoga!) Please note that visitors are asked to contribute to the community spirit by doing a little bit of washing up. The location and setting are perfect for a yoga retreat, and you’ll have time and space to relax, recharge and energise.

About the weekend of Yoga
This is a wonderful opportunity to nourish and re-energise mind, body, and spirit. Our Saturday morning sessions will be both gentle and physical, combining somatic flowing floor work with asana, relaxation and breath-work. The afternoon session on Saturday will be restorative. On Sunday afternoon we have the option of a meditation walk, weather permitting, otherwise, Yoga will be held as usual in the drawing room. The theme will be appropriate to the season and created when a date is arranged for 2023.
I offer an optional guided movement and meditate session before breakfast which sets the tone for the day. You will have time after lunch on Saturday to do whatever you feel like.
Saturday evening is usually spent sitting in the living room by the fire or a walk to the local pub has happened in the past! You are welcome to bring a bottle of wine to enjoy that evening and if you play a musical instrument and like to share your music, please BRING IT!

By car from London: Leave the M4 at Junction 8/9. Proceed on A4130 via Henley and Nettlebed to Crowmarsh roundabout. Turn left onto A4074 towards Reading. Follow this as far as signpost ‘Braziers Park’ ½ Mile. This leads to Braziers gates. Ignore signs marked Ipsden. Leave M40 at junction 6. Proceed on B4009 via Watlington and Crowmarsh.

I am happy to help coordinate car sharing of lifts and taxis to and from the station by setting up a Whatsapp group so you can organize yourselves. If you are going to have to turn up late then let us know and Braziers cooks will keep your dinner warm for you! Please keep your directions and general details safely for your information.

Friday, June 17th 2.30-5.30pm Finding Space in Summer - Gentle Yoga practiced mindfully and a bit of mindful meditation with Cookies.
The content of this workshop will be anchored in the season of summer and will nurture the heart and the small intestine. We will do plenty of floor work and aim to cool and balance our system before going into deeper stretching and some meditation either lying down or sitting. Our intention is to find space in our bodies, our hearts, and our minds.
This venue is run by Natalia who is an Ayurvedic cook and she provides some tea and cookies at any point we want them during our booking. We will have a comfort break part way through. She says people can stop and chat for a bit after the session if they want to.
COST: £35 – Some concessions @£15. Please ask.
